LIZZY

Lizzy, a self-proclaimed atheist and inhabitant of The Netherlands, is arguably the biggest Selena Li fan. Since the opening of Selena Fansource on October 23rd, 2006 (the very airing day of To Grow With Love), Lizzy has offered abundant Selena information to fans near and far. Her fandom began during Selena's first TV appearance as a cameo role in The Last Breakthrough. But it wasn't until Selena's performance in Face to Fate did Lizzy become completely impressed and the concept of Selena Fansource was given birth. Lizzy admits she adores everything about Selena, from acting and singing talents to her offscreen personality. It is a wonder to see how much time and efforts she spends maintaining her fansite with not only the latest news and medias on Selena, but also a consistent emergence of new layouts. Check out her latest version 15.0 - Classical.

As a child, Lizzy was prone to falling. She claimed she'd fall while walking or during other supposed mundane activities. But perhaps her "lack" of physical coordination back in the days allowed room for her impressive development of verbal abilities. Did you know that Lizzy speaks five tongues? Cantonese. Dutch. English. French. And a bit of German.

And what is Lizzy like as an adult? She tries to be a vegetarian. She listens to poprock/punkrock music, although Cantopop remains her favorite genre. She goes to High School, taking courses focusing on nature and health. Her favorite season is winter. Holiday? New Year. Favorite TVB series? You'd be surprised her favorites do not cast Selena Li, but instead, are the timeless productions of Journey to the West I & II.

Lizzy has two simple dreams. One is, of course, to meet Selena Li in person. Although they have exchanged e-mails, the delight of observing Selena's offscreen and offline personality has yet to come true. Her other dream is to one day live in a comfortable, small house situated far away from the city. Joining her peaceful lifestyle would be an Old English Sheepdog - man's best companion.

Not that you would be curious to know, but Lizzy has fulfilled (a fraction of) my traveling dreams. The lucky gal has already been to Hong Kong, London, and Rome. I'm green with envy! But regretably, Lizzy was sick the entire time during her stay in Italy. :( For an optimist, however, I truly believe this just means the lingering desire to revisit Europe is now magnified. Lizzy, perhaps we'll meet in France one day. ;)
